This sounds like a game I would have played with my parents. Wii Sports bowling was a huge hit in my house and I can see this being the precursor! I really admire their commitment to the game with the silence in tournaments and the different covers for the balls, that’s detail no one needed but some will appreciate!
Despite having played Ten Pin Alley many times over the years, it wasn't until I sat down to write the review that I really noticed the deliberate choice to keep the tournament mode silent. I guess some things you don't appreciate until you get older.
I think Wii Sports put video game bowling on the map for lots of families. The Wii was the perfect platform for a bowling game!
